A moment of transparency ~ August 10, 2013

This message was intended for me today. I promised that I would be transparent and share the good as well as the bad. Today I woke up sick once again and I’m ashamed to say that I felt like giving up. I felt like I took a giant leap forward then took a leap backwards. The voice that speaks to me said that I will not always have good days and I will have to learn how to continue standing through the rough ones. As tired as I get sometimes from standing, I know that this purpose that I’m birthing is going to be incredible because I’ve never labored over anything like this in my life. So with that said, I’m still here and still praying. I declare that my healing is coming. Not in my time, but when it’s time. In the meantime, my message for today is: no matter how you get it or who you get it from, just get it and share it because someone else is waiting for your testimony to help them get free as well. I have so much more to share, but in due time. #IWILLgetthere #ICANgetthere #HeneedstoknowImready #thankyouforyourmercy #thankyouforyourgrace

Words of faith and encouragement by Les Brown:

You are stronger than you think you are. It doesn’t matter what you are facing…a lost relationship, job, bankruptcy, foreclosure, health or financial challenges. You have the power in you to recreate it all over again from scratch. It does not matter how old you are. Don’t beat yourself up. It’s natural to feel sorry for yourself or feel frightened and want to give up. It doesn’t even matter if the people that you thought would have your back have deserted you. You are still breathing. You’re still here and you have the power to win.

You are more powerful than you think you are. Remind yourself of this. Stand up within yourself. Gather your mental, emotional and spiritual strength and speak from deep within your spirit and your soul. Take back your power. Say…”I will survive. I will thrive. I am coming back. Giving up is not who I am. I will stay the course, and persist until I succeed.” You might have to do this while down on your knees, praying, crying and screaming at the top of your lungs. Resist the feeling of being overwhelmed, powerless or being a victim. You will survive and thrive again! You have something special…you have GREATNESS within you!!
