As You Heal

As you move forward and heal from the trauma of losing a loved one but most especially a child, it is vitally important to ONLY surround yourself with people, relationships and environments that are emotionally safe. It’s a very necessary step in the healing process.

Death oftentimes exposes the relationships, people and/or environments that are no longer good for you or have no value in your life. It’s nearly impossible to heal trauma if you are still holding on to relationships or remain in environments that are emotionally unsafe.

Safety creates connection and safe connection is what heals emotional trauma. There is no better healing process to heal emotional trauma and mental health than to first create safe, secure attachments in your life. Be sure to choose wisely.
